Hi David, the ER3 series sound almost identical to the ER4 series. The ER2 are a little more full bodied and easier to listen to as they don’t quite portray micro-detail in the same way the BA models do.

Thank you. However what I want to know is how they compare in sound quality and tonality to the er 3 series which are in the same price range. I know that the 3 is a ba and the 2 is a dd. What has not been reported by any reviewer is what is the difference in sound between these two product lines. How can one choose between them.
This would be a very useful review.
